About Yogic Breathing
One of the core practices in Yoga is Breath Control.
Controlling the breath is the only way to harness Prana, a vital force which permeates everythingin the Universe .
The Yogic exercises to control Prana are known as Pranayama.
Types of Yogic Breathing
Effective yogic breathing requires the controlled use of Thoracic, Diaphragmatic and Clavicular breathing .
Note : Exercises in Yoga should be done under the guidance of a trained practitioner. The following practice session is only designed to give you an appreciation of the method .
